Here we are at Dover Castle, and the white cliffs of Dover. After exploring the castle we played on the beach; there was no sand on the beach, only pebbles. We could also see the coast of France from the castle. This castle was cool because we were free to wander around the castle without a guide. In the medieval tunnels, we found a side tunnel, off the beaten path, that we climbed up; it was pitch black, so we had to use our camera flashes to see our way; the flashes are so bright that you cannot tell how dark it was in the picture (not posted here). Unfortunately, we were not allowed to explore the secret wartime tunnel because those required a tour, and they were completely booked. Later this week we were able to see the underground WWII wartime headquarters in London, but I still think the wartime tunnels would have been pretty cool. I have come to the conclusion that most countries probably have secret underground tunnels running under their capitals. This is merely a generalization (I only know of three for certain).
